A Passionate Vision
TerraNova Equestrian Center is the vision of equestrians Hannah Herrig Ketelboeter, her husband Zach Ketelboeter, and the Herrig family. The family has been designing and working on developing the facility since 2018. Originally, the idea of TerraNova began as a small eventing training barn, and eventually expanded to The Stables and TerraNova, TerraNova Equestrian Center and The Estates at TerraNova. It is clear from the level of detail and creativity put into the facility that TerraNova is more than just a business. It is a passion project.
Steve Herrig
Founder
Steve, chief executive officer and board chairman of SUNZ Holdings, is the primary founder of all the TerraNova properties. Steve set his vision and business expertise on creating preeminent equestrian and golf destinations that preserve the integrity and purity of each sport. He assembled leading talent in the equestrian, golf and home building industries, along with daughter and son-in-law Hannah and Zach Ketelboeter, who are the heart of the equestrian part of the project. His career path resulted in two nominations for Business Observer's Entrepreneur of the Year, and he was honored with the title in 2007. Steve is involved in many philanthropic endeavors, is an avid golfer, and prioritizes faith and family.
Natalee Herrig
Founder
Natalee is the co-founder of all TerraNova endeavors. Most importantly, Natalee is the inspiration and creator of our core values at TerraNova Equestrian Center: commitment to excellence, harmony with nature, and purity of sport. She is involved at all levels of the operation, ensuring that our mission and values are reflected in every detail. Natalee also spearheads charitable efforts and connects TerraNova with local charity partners to create initiatives addressing the greatest need. Natalee's passion for service, customer experience, environmental impact and community connection continues to be invaluable to all TerraNova entities.
Hannah Herrig-Ketelboeter
Chief Development Officer
Along with her family, Hannah has been involved with TerraNova since its conception. She is co-founder and chief development officer across all TerraNova entities. Her degree in communication and leadership development from the University of Florida, along with her passion for horses and experience in the equestrian world, provide her with a unique skill set to be a driving force in the vision and execution of TerraNova Equestrian Center. As a licensed real estate agent with Premier Sotheby's International Realty, she also plays a key role in the vision and development of The Estates at TerraNova.
Zach Ketelboeter
Chief Operations Officer
With his background in construction management and equestrian sport, Zach has played a vital role in the development of TerraNova. He currently serves as chief operations officer across all TerraNova entities and oversees all construction and future development projects. Zach's commitment to excellence, innovative thinking and passion for Terra Nova has propelled the venue's success. He is involved in all levels of the operation, ensuring the highest standards are met in safety and customer experience for both human and equine athletes.
